PRODUCT SIMULATION SOFWARE TECHNOLIGY
The Product Simulation Framework (PSF) was developed to provide a stable and flexible developing environment to realize our projects. All the frequently needed software components and functions have been developed within the frames of the Product Modelling Framework.
PSF technology consists of two levels:
- PSF Toolkit is a collection of software components.
- Based on the Toolkit components we have developed different PSF Application Frameworks.
Toolkit contains:
- PSF Drawing Environment is a 2D drawing component allowing the interactive creation and modification of basic and complex 2D drawing elements.
- PSF Modelling Environment is a 3D modelling component allowing the interactive placement and modification of parametric 3D shapes and complex Visual Objects. These Visual Objects simulate products and product systems as well.
Real time visualization, navigation and 3D manipulations are also provided.
- PSF Exporter is an expandable converter component allowing the export generation in different 2D and 3D formats.
- PSF Visual Scene Format is an internal format describing 2D and 3D product systems. This format can effectively be used to exchange information between our different software on different platforms.
Application Frameworks:
- PSF Application Frameworks are rather small applications than components. Application Framework software solutions are designed for specific tasks, but contain only generic functions and product logic management.
PSF Application Frameworks have to be customized in order to get real software applications with real manufacturer and product information. In case of PSF Application Frameworks the amount of customization is significantly fewer than at the Basic Software components.
PSF Window Designer is one of our Application Frameworks.
